Maryland, France, Israel, UK Speed Cameras Destroyed, Protested
Automated ticketing machines around the world are spraypainted and set on fire.

More speed cameras have come under attack in Baltimore, Maryland. WBAL radio reports the automated ticketing machine at Cromwell Bridge Road had its lens spraypainted red, with the phrase "go to hell" and "thief" scrawled on the device (view video).

Vigilantes in Greater Manchester, England burned a speed camera on Albert Royds Street. The same device in Rochdale had been attacked once previously this year, according to Mancunian Matters.

On Thursday, a 19-year-old was charged in Israel on Thursday with setting fire to a speed camera on Highway 4 in July, according to Arutz Sheva.

On Saturday, motorcyclists in France organized a day of warning others about speed cameras, MotoMag reports. Teams met in Auxerre and began painting bright "R" markings on the pavement ahead of the device to foil its ability to catch motorists by surprise on the N77.
