Italy: Group Holds Speed Camera for Ransom
Anti-speed camera group delivers ransom note for speed camera grabbed last month in Novara, Italy.

Police warehouse in ItalyA group known as Comitato No Velox (No Speed Camera Committee) has issued demands for the release of the speed camera it abducted on August 16 in Novara, Italy. Infomotori reports that police received a ransom note made from letters cut out of a newspaper saying, "RETURN THE MONEY." It is unlikely the police will comply, considering the camera, which had been taken from a provincial police warehouse, is only worth 20,000 euros (US $25,000).
