France, UK: Speed Cameras Burned, Blocked
Speed cameras in Scotland and France are disabled and destroyed with fire and paint.

Vigilantes in East Lothian, Scotland scorched a speed camera last week Saturday. According to the East Lothian Courier, the automated ticketing machine had been issuing tickets on the A1 near Bankton Junction. The device was completely destroyed.

In Yvelines, France last week Saturday, vigilantes used a burning tire to damage the speed camera on the RD13 near Maurepas, Info Normandie reported. Black spraypaint was the weapon of choice on the Route de Geradmer near Epinal where, according to Remiremont Info, the automated ticketing machine was blinded. The same fate befell the camera in Hautes-Alpes between Roche-des-Arnauds and Montmaur, Dici.fr reported. In Nantes, the speed camera on the Chevire bridge was burned on November 1, according to Presse Ocean.
