Scotland, UAE: Speed Cameras Swiped, ShotVigilantes grabbed speed cameras in Scotland and shot them in the United Arab Emirates.
Vigilantes shot a pair of speed cameras in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday. The devices were located on the Al Dhaid-Sharjah Road, Alittihad reported. So far this year, eleven other speed cameras have been shot in the area.
A trio of speed cameras have been taken from the A68 in the Borders region of Scotland, according to the Southern Reporter. Vigilantes most recently nabbed a camera at Birkenside. Another camera was taken from Newtown St. Boswells earlier this month. In October, a camera was grabbed from Earlston. The Birkenside camera enforces a speed limit, 60 MPH, that is so low for the road that half of the passing vehicles could be ticketed.
