Around the same time, the speed camera on the N4 in Vitry-le-Francois had its lens covered with a thick coating of white spraypaint. On Friday, the pole-mounted "turret" speed camera on the RD1006 in Saint-Jean-de-Couz was cut down with an angle grinder. On Wednesday, the speed camera on the RN83 in Rennes-sur-Loue was destroyed with a burning tire. On Tuesday, vigilantes in Bourges, France, blinded the speed camera on Boulevard Gambetta with yellow spraypaint.
