French Vigillantes Disable A Few Speed Cameras
Opponents of automated ticketing in France only took out a handful of speed cameras last week.

Vigilantes in Solterre, France, on Thursday took out the speed camera on the RD2007 by blinding it with spraypaint. On Tuesday, the speed camera on the RD1017 in Liancourt-Fosse was set on fire. Around the same time, green paint was used to prevent the speed camera on the A13 near Poissy from issuing tickets. On September 21, the speed camera on the RN134 in Herrere had its lens covered with bright orange spraypaint. On September 20 the speed camera on the RD673 in La Barre was torched.
