UK: $164,000 Camera Torched
A Tormarton, UK speed camera responsible for generating $164,000 in revenue in just one week destroyed by fire.

A speed camera that brought in £91,680 (US $164,000) in revenue in just one week in Tormarton, UK was destroyed after midnight last night. Burning tires were used to eliminate the temporary camera on a section of the M4 where the speed limit was reduced to 40 MPH for road construction. The device had issued 1,528 citations worth £60 each.
