A speed camera in Tickenham, UK on the B3130 sustained minor damage from a burning tire

A speed camera in Tickenham, UK on the B3130 sustained minor damage from a burning tire around 5am last Saturday. Police are developing the camera's film and considering anyone ticketed by the camera that day as a possible suspect.

Area cameras have been targeted in the past. A nearby camera in Backwell was torched and a mechanical digger rammed a camera in Flax Bourton.

Article Excerpt:
It has since been taken to a police lab to be processed and to check the registration numbers of cars which the camera may have caught speeding through the village. Officers will then enquire to see if any of the motorists filmed breaking the 30mph limit might be responsible for the arson attack.
