A motorist driving through the Alpine village of La Punt Chamues-ch, Switzerland attacked a speed camera with a pick axe, knocking the device off its mounting pole. The man then drove the camera to the top of the mountain and tossed it over the side, rendering the camera into scrap metal.

Police spotted him in the act and charged him with destroying police property. He faces a US $22,000.
