UK: Lancashire Speed Camera Gets Bent
One camera firebombed and another nearly ripped out of the ground in Lancashire, UK.

The anti-speed camera vigilante group known as Motorists Against Detection (MAD) took responsibility for the fire-bombing of a speed camera in Lancashire, UK last week. The device had been located on Rochdale Road in Bacup. In a second attack this weekend, vigilantes attempted to rip a ticket camera on Burnley Road in Colne out of the ground. A chain apparently was attached to the camera as a vehicle pulled. Although the camera survived intact, it was bent at a useless angle and left surrounded by a pile of rubble.
