UK: Staffordshire Speed Camera Torched
Staffordshire, UK speed camera is destroyed by a burning tire.

Vigilantes set fire to a Staffordshire, UK speed camera on Friday near midnight. The device had been issuing tickets on Pye Green Road in the town of Hednesford before being necklacked by a flaming tire.

"Some speed cameras do appear to have been put in locations to generate income," Hednesford Councilor Chris Collis admitted to the Express and Star newspaper. "But not that one."

Cannock Fire Station firefighters who were called to the scene reported an alarming increase in the number of speed camera-related fires.
