Two Mount Vernon, New York police officers pleaded guilty Wednesday to reckless driving after their drag racing caused an injury crash last year. Officer Robert Burke, 25, had been racing Officer Leonard Cooper, 26 on North MacQuesten Parkway at 6am on April 2. Burke lost control of the 1990 Ford Mustang he was driving, which jumped a curb and slammed into a parking meter and fire hydrant.
