Illinois: Meter Maids Give Three Tickets to Dead Man
Three parking tickets given to a dead man trapped in an SUV in Peoria, Illinois.

Mercedes SUV
Meter maids in Peoria, Illinois issued three parking tickets and a tow-away sticker to a dead man trapped in a black Mercedes SUV on Hamilton Boulevard just outside the Methodist Medical Center emergency room. On February 9, a passing pedestrian noticed the body of Michael T. Hudson, 46, inside the vehicle and notified hospital security. Hudson, the owner of a construction and remodeling company, had been missing since February 6.

Police have declined to release full details on when each of the parking tickets had been issued. The Peoria County Coroner's preliminary tests to determine the cause of death have been inconclusive.
