UK: Speed Camera Bagged
Garden waste bag prevents a Merseyside, UK speed camera from issuing tickets.

A speed camera located in the town of Moreton in Merseyside, UK was covered with a filthy bag marked, "Wirral Garden Waste Service" last weekend. The covering prevented the camera from generating ticket revenue until Merseyside police removed it Monday afternoon.

The Wirral Globe newspaper reader who photographed the bagged camera said, "You've got to hand it to whoever did this. Speed cameras are a pain in the neck. They don't reduce speeds -- they just make money for the police."
